Sarah is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Sustainability Economics group at ETH Zurich. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Bern and was a SNSF Doc.Mobility fellow at the London School of Economics, and a SNSF Postdoc.Mobility fellow at the University of Bologna. Her research is at the intersection of environmental economics and political economy, studying the design of environmental policies that are not only effective, but also politically and socially feasible. Using both theoretical and experimental approaches, she studies how political incentives, distributional preferences and tipping dynamics shape cooperation on climate change.
