The Network
Â
The Global SNSF Fellows Network emerged from the first interdisciplinary SNSF Fellows conference in June 2020 and was founded by Alessandra Ferrario, Tobias Schneider, and Vanessa Jaiteh in October 2020. Ever since, the network is growing. Our network is open for all researchers who have received funding from the Swiss National Science Foundation. We are an inclusive and diverse community and all SNSF Fellows are warmly welcomed.
Mission of the Network
Our mission is to contribute to creating sustainable career opportunities in research after the postdoctoral fellowship and to provide hands-on information and exchange opportunities for current fellowship holders abroad.
Showcasing the value of SNSF Fellows to academic institutions, industry, and the general public within Switzerland and beyond;
Joining relevant national and international discussions promoting and advocating for SNSF Fellows;
Inviting inspiring speakers to share their career experiences;
Providing networking opportunities and exchange platforms to current and former SNSF Fellows around the world.

A world where talented researchers do not need to choose between financial security, work-life balance and pursuing their research career.
Connect Swiss-educated and -funded researchers around the world with a variety of research ecosystems;
Advance the visibility of Swiss higher education and research institutions to the world;
Promote the networks and Swiss-educated researchers to increase opportunities for knowledge transfer and exchange
