Dr Raphaëlle Ashley Guerbaai is currently a Senior Research Fellow at the Rehabilitation, Ageing and Independent Living (RAIL) Research Centre and a Clinical Nurse Specialist with extensive experience in intensive care and clinical research. Raphaëlle obtained a Swiss National Science Foundation Postdoc.Mobility Fellowship to lead her project GINEUS, which aims to improve post-fall clinical management in aged care, reducing avoidable hospital transfers and enhancing in-house care. Raphaëlle’s experience includes developing and evaluating nurse-led models of care designed to reduce unplanned hospitalisations from residential aged care. She specialises in effectiveness-implementation hybrid designs and implementation science, with expertise spanning contextual analysis to intervention scale up.
